Who We Are
When Steve Galper opened Genesis Jewelers in 1987, the store was in Queens, NY. Now, 36+ years later, the business is running well in the Yorktown Heights. Genesis Jewelers of Yorktown has been a part of the community since April of 2002 when he moved the business to Westchester. Steve has been in the jewelry business since he was 17 years old when his cousin asked his mother if Steve would work for him. From that moment on, he stuck with it.
“If You Can Dream It, We Can Make It”
This has been a mantra of Steve’s. Working with clients to custom design pieces that can be handed down as heirlooms is something he enjoys. When it comes to standing out, it’s all about the service you provide to your customers. If you earn their trust and satisfy them, your job is done.
Today, Steve and his wife Lara own Genesis. Inside the store, you will always receive a warm welcome and enjoy professional services such as ear piercing, appraisals, engraving, watch batteries, and bands while you wait.
